双色球2018124期 www.yey22.com The University of Nottingham Ningbo China (UNNC) hosted two postgraduate degree ceremonies on 10th November 2018.
Attendees witnessed the graduation of 354 Masters and 13 PhD students from the Faculty of Business, the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences and the Faculty of Science and Engineering. The events were hosted by the UNNC President Professor Fujia Yang.
At the ceremonies, students were awarded University of Nottingham degrees, which are recognised and respected by employers and institutions all over the world. Some graduates have already secured promising jobs in the rail, automobile, real estate, energy, finance and investment industries while others have received offers to continue further study at world leading universities, such as University of College London, University of Glasgow, University of Pittsburgh and Monash University.
PhD graduate Mia Tedjosaputro described her experience at UNNC as “quintessential”. “The academics are truly global - from both the UK and China campuses,” she said. “I also received sterling support from the Faculty of Science and Engineering and the Graduate School.”
Moyi Cheng, who received an MSc in Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management, also echoed the quality of UNNC staff. Her personal tutor was Michele Geraci, who has since been appointed to a top position in the Italian government. “We can access a great number of physical and digital academic resources and the study atmosphere is inspiring,” she said.
Also in attendance were representatives of “Passing Hope”, a student charity project. It was awarded with the Vice-Chancellor’s Medal in recognition of its volunteering work in sports education for disadvantaged children.
Professor Vladimir Brusic (Computer Science) and Professor Emilian Kavalski (International Relations) were presented with Li Dak Sum Chair Professorships - the highest research standard at the University of Nottingham Ningbo China.
Six experts were awarded Honorary Professorships in recognition of their outstanding contributions to their fields. They are:
